I don't have any photos of my tree this year, so I'll leave you with something from the archives. It's me with Grandma Whaples, on a Christmas long ago.

Don't know if I'll post from the Gs'. If not, have a wonderful Christmas, and I'll see you probably on the 28th.

Oh yeah, I finally drank my Kelpie last night (yes, I saved it for almost an entire year) (it was a Christmas present from Jan) and it was really good. I would buy it myself in the future if I see it! No wonder. Seaweed is pretty much always good!

Last Christmas Card Competition count before leaving for North Carolina: 11-7! I actually got 12 but I'm not allowed to count one of them because of the "One card per couple and their dependent children" rule. This was a previously agreed-upon stipulation, so I have no problem with it. I'm still eating Dean's lunch. Heheheheh. Anyway, the card deadline rule states that, in order to count, cards must be postmarked by December 25th. So we won't know who the true winner is for a while yet.

I got stuck in a giant traffic jam today, on Rt. 9 near the 372 exit. There was a tractor-trailer truck overturned on 372. (I didn't see it, I just heard on the radio.) But other than that, the roads were good! I went on my secret last-minute mission to procure a certain perishable Christmas present, and I'm all ready for our flight tomorrow. Well, other than the fact that I didn't pack yet.

We're going tomorrow instead of Christmas Eve, since C.E. looks slimy and tomorrow is supposed to be nice and clear and calm. Dean's excited because this means I'll have time to bake cookies with the Gs. Heh.

There were the most amazing icicles hanging off the guy next door's roof. I didn't get a picture, though. But everything around here looks like it's covered with frosting.

Wow!!! Sara from BID called on the phone! It was so great to talk to her! I have a permanent huge grin stuck on my face now.

I had a Kippered Seafood Snack and it was good! (Even though it was boneless.)
