1) Went from discouraged about Thanksgiving to coming up with and implementing a GREAT plan, last night.
2) Thought of a great theme for Jan's Christmas gifts while drifting off to sleep, and already procured one item!
3) Agreed upon a new mutual birthday plan with Jan (no physical presents; instead pick out and contribute to a cause in honor of the other person... I'm excited!)
4) Just found out that Chuck is coming back on Sunday, January 10th! It's like an early birthday present for MEE!!! So excited!!
5) Fantastic secret turnaround scheming with Jan, and Dean is a hero!!!

I posted a new self portrait for my home page photo!! The old one was from November 19th last year; the new one is from November 7th this year. I took it in the extra-swanky hotel room we somehow ended up with in Fort Lauderdale on the way back from our trip. I really like the photo. I look like me.

Wow, I had the most fantastically entertaining dream. (It's really hard to remember any of the details, though.) Dean and I went to Vic's and this huge weird caper ensued. Vic was so great and Vic-like in it, doing weird schemes. Lots of computer stuff I didn't understand was discussed between Dean and Vic, and then the dream took a turn about a third of the way through, and he had all these teenagers working for him, who suddenly showed up out of the woodwork. We had to help this one kid hide/escape from the authorities. That part was outside, near/in the water. It was such a richly detailed and entertaining caper! Vic's place, and then the boat(?)(or floating boathouse, or something) (which we barged through lots of spaces between trees, where it barely fit, in the climatic escape scene) had all these cool odd features about them. And something was bright RED, but now I can't remember what.
