Recommended Places In Connecticut. List created on 6-7-03; fixed up 3-22-04.
Recommended by me, of course. Sort of like the LWP version of the Hartford Advocate "Best Of" poll, but a lot more eccentric. They're listed in categories, sort of. | |||||

Kashmir Restaurant 481 Wethersfield Ave • Hartford, CT • 860-296-9685 Not in the greatest part of town, but it's the best Indian restaurant in Connecticut. We've been going there forever. Best parathas, samosa, saag paneer... and completely delicious Indian custard. We always leave a disproportionally huge tip to make up for the too-low prices.

Mozzicato Caffé 329 Franklin Ave • Hartford, CT 06114 • 860-296-0426 • fax 860-296-8129 The best Italian atmosphere, my friend. And best ricotta cannolis, cappuccino cake, tiramisu cake (if they have it when you go), and cappuccino. Our favourite since 1992.
